Self Reflection Blog for Reproductive Health -myassignmenthelp

Question: Write about theSelf Reflection Blog for Sexual and Reproductive Health. Answer: Reproductive as well as sexual health refers to the state of physical, mental and also social well-being related to sexuality and not merely the absence of any kind of diseases and infirmity. Al matters related to reproductive system, its functions and processes across all stages of life are not often learnt by every individual equally. While one might develop detailed idea, other may develop wrong ideas with varieties of misconceptions that decrease quality sexual and reproductive health. Each and every individual has the right to assess quality sexual health which requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality a well as different sexual relationships with the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences. These experiences would be free from coercion, violence as well as discrimination. I would be applying as a health promotion officer with the organization named True to educate Australian communities about the importance of proper reproductive and sexual healthcare. I would be developing a comprehensive health promotion approach which will mainly contain some important motives. This will include educating patients about how sexual diseases can be prevented, how to promote sexual and reproductive health and also early intervention for different reproductive and sexual disorders (Eldredge et al. 2016). A focus on development of healthy would be the main focus along with proper acknowledgement of diversity and recognition of all patients in the communities irrespective of age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, identity, financial means, disability, locality and also other status (Chandramouli, Lane and Wong 2015). Often certain barriers I might face in my task which is evident from the present scenario in the nation. Since I am a woman officer, I might not be able to make the male population comfortable while discussing their issues in the counseling session of the health education and inquiry system. Many male members may not confide on me in discussing their reproductive disorders and sexual uneasiness as they may think that I can never understand their issue properly as I am not myself a male. Moreover, certain cultures also do not support discussion of sexual inefficiencies of displeasure with an opposite gender which might create a great barrier in my smooth flow of work (Berglass, Constantine and Ozer 2014). Moreover, certain cultures even go beyond gender discrimination and consider the entire issue of discussion on sexual and reproductive health to be against their norms. Moreover, the modern world still feels uncomfortable with the concept of homosexuals and same sex, transgender and similar others and therefore such individuals do not reveal their identities and tend to hide their concerns within themselves. This might become a major flaw of the health promotion program as I would not be able to help them unless they tend to come forward with their problems. Hence, I will arrange for education classes would help to break the taboos and help people understand that personal choices are what human beings known for. Moreover the people who belong to indigenous backgrounds like Aboriginals and Torres Islanders, people coming from different cultures, people who are refugees and culturally and linguistically diverse would be my main focus as often they tend to think themselves as discriminated and does not come with their concern. Therefore as health promotion officer, I will develop strategies that will help to develop proper relationships with each and every individuals starting form young people to even to older citizens so that I can develop plan to deliver proper community education and professional training and properly scheduled evidence based sexual and reproductive health workshops and discussion session. One to one counseling sessions would also be arranged in weekends so that everyone gets a chance to discuss their issues. Care should be taken by me that no gender biasness is reflected form me when I handle individuals engaged in domestic violence and handle them effectively, giving victims correct suggestions. Ensuring our future through conservation Essay Example For Students

Ensuring our future through conservation Essay Ensuring our future through conservation Essay The worlds natural rainforests are one of humanitys only remaining hopes to continue its existence. Rainforests are vast forests filled with lush vegetation, teeming with life (both animal and plant), of which only about 40 percent has been completely discovered and studied. Rainforests are a beautiful place that can only be properly described by the scientist/naturalist, Charles Darwin when he said Delightis a weak term to express the feelings of a naturalist, who for the first time, has wandered by himself in a Brazilian forest (qtd Collins 53). The rainforests of today are somewhat similar to the rainforests of the past. The rainforests of today still contain all of the same vegetation, animal life, and animal species as they did in the past. However, the size of theses majestic rainforests has diminished immensely over a course of about 100 years. Recent studies and estimates conclude that around two percent of the worlds rainforests is lost each year. Unless we change this amount of deforestation, there will be little of our rainforests left in 50 years. Our rainforests are an integral part in our worlds ecosystem, and therefore need to be conserved as best we can. The rainforests provide safety and life to millions of kinds of life, they may contain cures to many of the worlds diseases, and they provide over 60 percent of the worlds supply oxygen to humans and other animals. Destroying these beautiful and key parts of the world would be catastrophic to mankind. There are many ways in which we can conserve our natural rainforests, and thus partly ensure our survival on earth. Two of these ways are through education of mankind on just how much we need the rainforests and what they can do to save them and through mass reforestation. Without a complete understanding of the problems facing the planet in terms of its environment, mankind is not going to last for long. People must understand why they should recycle, how they can reduce air pollution, what they can do to lessen their own individual destruction of the earth. It is also important that environmental education be correct and must relate to the person doing the learning. In order for environmental education to be effective, it must be both comprehensible and applicable to the learner. Such awareness may be the only option that exists that can make a difference in saving and renewing the earths diminishing natural rainforests. Such education must be fully taught so that the student can understand the inter-relatedness of all aspects of the environment, including his or her role in it. Once a person understands that all life on earth, not just human life, is dependent on the environment, it is no longer possible to dismiss the planet simply somewhere to live for humans to treat as they will. The best time to begin such environmental education and awareness is with children. Children must begin to learn at an early age that respect for the earth and its environment and all of its inhabitants is a necessary part of life. Each person must understand the consequences of his or her actions on the environment. Beginning in the first years of school, children should be taught the processes of life on this planet. Environmental education can truly make a difference and is the most valuable schooling for the future. Reforestation began in Ontario after World War II. What happened was, professional foresters were assigned to an area and became responsible for its well being. Under the Crown Timber Act, long term management was prepared. Then the many steps needed to rebuild a forest began. .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee , .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .postImageUrl , .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee , .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee:hover , .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee:visited , .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee:active { border:0!important; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee:active , .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u3babac30bf224caccbe27752b02c95ee:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Atomic Bombing Of Hiroshima Essay There are many methods for planning a forest. Product Design Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2000 words

Product Design - Assignment Example Although the basic design concept of producing a product in answer to a consumer need has remained relevant and valid, so much has changed in the objectives, processes, methodologies and techniques to arrive at the end product. Kassi reports that in the beginning of the old era some 250 years ago, the focus was more on product quantity than quality as the demand for products was not yet developed and the production processes were crude. Certainly, there was emphasis on cost reduction but this was without regard to the quality of the end product, an attitude that was carried through till the beginning of the scientific era and on to the period when industries began mass producing. The scientific managers carried forward their time-motion studies, process analysis and queuing theories which consequently became seeds for the moving assembly line, linear programming and statistical sampling that were being used in mass production. This mass production system became vogue up to the latter part of the 20th century, by which time the market has fully bloomed and demand has ripened for new products. This heightened demand signaled the beginning of quality in production, but the moving production line was not up to par with the costs it involved. Hence, new methods were sought and thus began the use of computing, automation and lean production systems that ushered in such concepts as just-in-time, CAD design, electronic data interchange and TQM, among other late concepts. (Kassi, 2008). Inside that process of evolution, equally evolving was product design as it is now known. It is the aim of this paper to take a close look at product design and examine its role in the modern configuration of business, particularly as it is being promoted to take on a responsibility in achieving competitive advantage for a business firm. Product Design As a general concept, product design would simplistically refer to the process by which new products are designed and produced. But Achenie et al (2003) look at product design as a series of steps leading to the completion of a product that is ready for use. The steps involved are define the needs, generate ideas to meet the needs, select the best idea and manufacture the product (Achenie et al, 2003). On the other hand, Synthesis Engineering Services may be a biased information source for this research but it would be worthwhile to look at their conceptual presentation of the steps in product design. Their presentation shows a very clear picture of the whole process from identifying the bright idea to defining the requirements to information gathering and planning to design to prototyping to production (Synthesis, 1996). This sequence is, in fact, aligned with what Luecke (2003) offers as a process involving the generation of ideas, evaluation of these ideas, development of the selected ideas and conversion of the ultimately chosen ideas to useful products. It is easy to see that product design is the key process, if not a strategy, in the overall effort of an organization to achieve outstanding end results. Cresswell et al (2004) agrees that it is in product design where new products or product improvements emanate and take form. Looking at it another way, product design is the driving force of a company’s initiative at creativity and innovation. Luecke (2003) believes that, if innovation is what will put the
